First, let’s talk about this spectacular new scratch resistance technology. Scratch Shield MAX.
Scratch Shield MAX
Scratch Shield MAX technology is made from a proprietary formula that brings extreme hardness to the floor, improving resistance to scratches, wear, and stains. While many floor coatings help with one of these features, Scratch Shield MAX improves protection on all of them!

Micro scratch resistance is tested using a pre-defined type of sand paper. We measure the pressure and amount of revolutions to determine the degree to which the surface is affected in terms of gloss change and visible micro scratches left on the surface.
Using the same method, we tested to what extent we could visibly see tiny scratches on a floor with Scratch Shield MAX compared to a regular coating.
